Last year, Kona had an insane party to celebrate 30 years of skateboarding. The party was great, and I had a lot of fun. Well, it's that time of year once again, and Kona is once again throwing a party. They've toned it down a bit due to the amount of construction going on around the park, but that doesn't mean that it won't be awesome. According to the site, Kona will be hosting a free cookout, along with live music, skate movies playing on the tombstone, and fireworks that start after it gets dark.
